    • This tool allows users to extract river profiles from DEM data and analyze the steepness index and concavity of one or more channels. Versions exist for ArcGIS 9.X and 10.

• Field Data Collection

    • This tool helps users to collect longitudinal profile data in the field using a coupled laser rangefinder and GPS/GIS enabled PDA. The surveyor can 'shoot-in' terraces and channel widths and enter georeferenced information about bed morphology and character. (in preparation for release)
